The National Homowo Festival North America (NHFNA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to unite all Ghanaian indigenes of GaDangme descent resident  in North America,  and to afford deserving under-privileged children in Ghana the opportunity, the training and tools needed to compete in today’s global technological world, while  promoting Gadangme culture and tradition, through civic, social education, recreational activities, mentoring and community building among GaDangme people through the celebration of the annual National Homowo Festival in North America (with emphasis on children), while exposing the American public to the meaning, uniqueness, pomp and pageantry of African culture. It is also to develop and foster mutual understanding and cooperation among the various GaDangme Associations in North America, as an enhancement of the general cultural and ethnic fabric of the United States
